What are menstrual cups?

How to Use:
Insert the C folded menstrual cup while squatting into the vagina at a 45-degree angle till it pops open and is comfortable. It should be inserted properly otherwise there will be space left for stains or leakage. If you are a first time user then use a pad along with it. Blood gets collected in the flexible cup and after the use, it can be cleaned and used again. If you face heavy flow then you should order the one with large capacity. You need to check the cup after 12 hours to see how much blood has collected. The cup can be removed by reaching out to the stem to find the base and pinching the base of the stem to release the seal and then removing the cup. After emptying the cup, it should be rinsed, wiped and then reinserted. Use mild soap and sterilized water to clean the cup. These cups are available in several colors and dyes used in manufacturing them are safe for use in sensitive areas. After use, you can dip the cup in Hydrogen Peroxide so that it is thoroughly clean and tidy.
My Experience:
Earlier I was skeptical about using menstrual cups for many years, but then I received my period box from Everteen which contained the Menstrual cup in a red bag. I wanted to try the menstrual cup as I was looking for an alternative to tampons and sanitary pads as they are made of synthetic materials which are uncomfortable at times. They are also harmful to our eco-system as they end up on our landfills. I used the menstrual cup during my last periods and they were not at all messy. A seal is created inside the vagina and all the blood gets collected inside. It was soft and easy to use and I had no discomfort while traveling or attending meetings. It is safe to use and does not cause any soreness or rash. This cup is really soft and handy and is very comfortable and amazing.
