Happy Easter

Easter is the most important Christian religious holiday and widely regarded as the second most popular festival.Easter  is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his crucifixion at Calvary (Good Friday).

Easter is the culmination of the Passion of Christ, preceded by Lent, a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance Easter begins with Great Lent, which starts on Clean Monday and lasts for 40 continuous days  The last week of Great Lent (following the fifth Sunday of Great Lent) is called Palm Week, and ends with Lazarus Saturday. The Vespers which begins Lazarus Saturday officially brings Great Lent to a close, although the fast continues through the following week. After Lazarus Saturday comePalm SundayHoly Week, and finally Easter itself, and the fast is broken immediately after the Paschal Divine Liturgy.

Belief

According to Scripture(Bible), that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Tradition of Giving Easter Eggs-

The custom of giving eggs at Easter celebrates new life. Christians remember that Jesus, after dying on the cross, rose from the dead. They believe that, through his resurrection, Jesus defeated death and sin and offers people the promise of eternal life if they follow his teachings. These eggs are painted in bright colors to give them further meaning as a gift.

They are all symbols of rebirth and the Lamb was a traditional religious sacrifice.Easter falls in the spring, the yearly time of renewal, when the earth renews itself after a long, cold winter. The word Easter comes to us from the Norsemen’s Eostur, Easter, Ostara, and Ostar, and the pagan goddess Eostre, all of which involve the season of the growing sun and new birth. The Easter Bunny arose originally as a symbol of fertility, due to the rapid reproduction habits of the hare and rabbit.
That’s the reason one offer Easter Eggs to dear ones.

Easter Monday
Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday and is celebrated as a holiday in largely Christian cultures.Especially On Easter Monday’s families go out for picnic ,enjoy time with one another and rejoice in Christ Name.

Importance Of Good Friday

Good Friday is a religious holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ   and his death at CalvaryIt is also known as Holy FridayGreat FridayBlack Friday or Easter Friday, though the latter properly refers to the Friday in Easter week.

Why is Good Friday referred to as “good”?When actually its a sad day?

God demonstrates his own love for us in this, While we were still sinners, “Christ died for us.”, “For Christ died for our sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit. He died for our sins ,so we sinners get salvation that’s why its called Good Friday .
Churches celebrate Good Friday with a subdued service, usually in the evening, in which Christ’s death is remembered with solemn hymns, prayers of thanksgiving, a message centered on Christ suffering for our sake ‘s and observance of the Lord’s Supper. Whether or not Christians choose to “celebrate” Good Friday, the events of that day should be ever on our minds because the death of Christ on the cross is the paramount event of the Christian faith.

Good Friday is a day of sadness, in which churches are empty and dark. Services are held in the afternoon. Many churches have a bitter drink prepared from leaves, vinegar, and other ingredients. This drink is for everyone to taste after the service.
On this day Christians commemorate the passion, or suffering, and death on the cross of the Lord,Jesus Christ .Usually   Christians spend this day in  fasting, prayer, repentance, and meditation on the agony and suffering of Christ on the cross.Christ suffering has  won our redemption. In the solemn ceremonies of Good Friday, in the Adoration of the Cross, in the chanting of the ‘Reproaches’, in the reading of the Passion, and in receiving the pre-consecrated Host, we unite ourselves to our Savior, and we contemplate our own death to sin in the Death of our Lord.

The Three Hours.Service  Some churches hold prayer service during the three hours of Christ’s suffering on the Cross. It would be appropriate to observe a period of silence at home, for devotional reading and private prayer  especially between the hours of noon and 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Some churches  at times show movies like -The passion of Christ,so that we come to know the actual suffering Our Lord did to save  human kind .

Tradition-After the church service ,people are served  with Hot Cross Bun. The familiar hot cross buns are sweet rolls with the sign of the cross cut into it, and they are one of several traditional .

Love Of My Life

Today i’m gonna introduce you  to the love of my life-She came in my life a year ago and since then she has changed my world upside down .She is  one piece , likes to be the center of attraction .
So no more delay  in disclosing -The love of my life is- Koochi .She is my 1 year  6 months old beautiful  kitty cat.
Why i call her love of my life because our lives  revolve around each other ,we both are incomplete without one another,i know i might me sounding insane to many of you but that’s ok.

Let me tell you how she came in  my life.A stray cat used to come to my house often  for food.Once while cleaning my roof top ,i saw her  with  3 little  cute kittens, for 25 days approx she stayed in my place i used to feed her .One fine day i saw the cat had gone with  her 2 kittens and left the ugliest kitten,I though she was shifting them to a safer place and will take the last one too,two days passed the little kitty used to cry and finally her mom ditched her  & i adopted her,& that’s how Koochi  came into my life.

Koochi as a kid was very cute ,innocent & loving. She followed  me everywhere-means everywhere from-park,washroom,from one room to another.
Slowly & steadily she started growing up -she loves playing  clawing & biting me.
She is a trained girl, loves eating,  goes for long drives ,at a stretch she can travel  up-to 8 hours has a leash and goes out for a stroll in her  leash.

She does not like anyone disturbing her privacy or sharing her room.I consider her a part of me,as i have adopted her when she could hardly see & walk.
She can not adjust with anyone this is what i hate about her ,i can not concentrate on my work when she is not around ,i simply love her .

Now i can understand what  actually goes inside a mother, her love & concern for her child.
And about my love Only a person will understand who loves pets with no boundaries.
